Issued Style Muslin Shirt

Made of heavy cotton muslin, it has three buttons, one at the collar and one at each cuff, reinforced shoulders and reinforcement tabs at the cuffs ends and side openings. This issued shirt dates back to the war of 1812 up to about 1858 when new specifications were adopted, knowing how the military works, they would continue issuing an item until supplies where exhausted. There would be a very good chance that this issued shirt could still have seen service very early in the civil war.
